The exclusive combi head in combination with the heavy main piston guarantees unequalled penetration speed and accuracy. Aerodynamic air flow patterns ensure low air consumption and minimal recoil. The main piston hits inside the head where it is most effective and not behind it.

Locking instead of glueing
In Version SK the end cap is locked in place allowing servicing on the jobsite within a few minutes. The TERRA-HAMMER is unique in design and operation which assures years of dependability. It comprises some 40 % less parts than comparable piercing tools.

Quick Reverse is enabled by a simple ¼ turn of the air hose. No unintentional reversal of the tool during operation due to pneumatic locking (Version S). Larger tools are equipped with a remote controlled reverse (Version F).

Longitudinal grooves displace soil sideways and allow piercing even in hard grounds, a feature which makes the combi head (KOK) superior in comparison to any other stepped or conical head.

The cutting and demolition edges destroy all obstructions regardless whether hit sideways or head-on. This results in the highest obtainable accuracy.

The star chisel makes the combi head (KOK) superior in demolishing obstructions. The star chisel penetrates through every breakable obstacle.

The TERRA-HAMMER TU 190 F is the largest piercing tool manufactured in the world today. It is often used for sewer house connections due to its high accuracy. Expanders allow bores up to Ø 300 mm (12 in).

The lubricator with regulation and impulse valves guarantees a smooth starting procedure into the ground. The impulse valve stops the main piston immediately in the event of an emergency stop. The sighting glass allows visual control to ensure constant lubrication, the antifreeze operates down to -42 °C (- 44 °F).

TRACEABLE HEAD ADAPTER (KOK-LD)
The locating equipment for the traceable TERRA-HAMMER comprises a sonde contained in the KOK-LD head adapter, used in conjunction with a hand-held radio locator with LCD-display to accurately indicate the position and depth of the tool. An additional transmitter allows pipe and cable locating. The TERRA-HAMMER TU 080plus SK and larger machines can be easily
equipped with traceable KOK-LD adapters.









EXPANDERS
Pilot bores are expanded to a larger diameter using the same TERRA-HAMMER in a second operation.


INTERCHANGEABLE HEAD ADAPTERS
TU machines allow head adapters to be easily changed on the jobsite without requiring the TERRA-HAMMER to be opened.





CABLE CLAMP
Short and compact, with interchangeable centering
adapter for different pipe sizes. Used with a pulling cable, short pipes or long lengths of pipes from a coil can be simultaneously pulled into difficult grounds during the piercing operation.
